Two high speed tube mills for Saudi steel pipe company built by FD Machinery Co. China have been finished their Trial-Producing-Before-Delivery after more than two months; the performance indicators have reached the design level and have been shipped to Saudi Arabia. The mill specifications are pipe OD ￠15.3mm up to ￠42mm with pipe wall thickness 0.5mm up to 2.0mm; the cutting device is a specially designed with FD’s many items of authorized patent technology, the line speed can be ensured up to 150m/min, at the same time its blade life and cutting quality are not different from that of the low-speed line. Meanwhile the line is equipped with high-speed automatic packing machine including auto pipe stacking machine, auto steel type strapping machine and pipe bundle stacking machine. Its high efficiency can match with that of the tube mill perfectly, it even can be used for difficult packing for small diameter pipe and square & rectangular pipe.
